Poem: A Walk in the Park

This poem is about how humans prefer nature tamed rather than in its wild and natural form.

A Walk in the Park

A park is not
Nature.

It is too contained.
Rearranged.

Too many straight lines
give the game away.

No untamed wildness allowed.
‘Keep off the grass.’

It is too like a church to be
Spiritual.
